I'm more a fan of their top-shelf margarita thAn the food. The food is descent, but it gives me horrible indigestion and I dont have this problem at other mexican eateries. The service is always good, and I like the outdoor seating. I definately recommend them, but be prepared with Tums !

This is my husband and I's favorite Mexican place to eat at! The food is amazing and the salsa is our favorite. If you haven't been before I certainly recommend going!

Don't come here! The service here has been consistently bad. Don't use a credit or debit card either. They charged us twice for someone else's bill then they tried to argue when we showed it to them and they didn't fix it for 5 days! Really bad business. There are several other Mexican restaurants in the area. Pick any one of those!

I have been a regular here for quite a while as the food is always good even though the service can be hit or miss. Well today was it for me. First we had 3 different servers come to wait on us, which I am thinking wow we will get really good service today. Finally they narrowed it down to 1 waitress. I guess we got the worse of the 3 as after we received our drinks she was gone. After 15 minutes we caught one of the others that had tried to wait on us and she took our order to help out our waitress. We should her our coupon which she took and verified with the manager it was good. Our food came and our waitress showed back up. Food was good and we asked for the bill as my lunch ( hour ) was over. The bill comes to the table and I put my CC and the coupon in the little folder. Waitress picks it up and gone for 5 minutes . Brings it back and coupon is still in the folder but not deducted off the bill. I flag the waitress down and ask if she can please remove the coupon amount from the bill and she told me as she had already ran my credit card for the full amount she couldn't do it. If I had not already been running so late I would have asked for the manager. Very poor service and then cant fix her mistake on the bill..????? Done !!!! to many other places with better service to eat in the area

Great place to crash with a couple of pitchers of margaritas after a long project. Which is exactly what we did. The food was good. More authentic dishes than you usually see on most Mexican menus. Lots of selections! I had the #13 combo platter: Chile Relleno, Cheese Enchilada, Beef Burrito. The relleno was queso and beef over a slice of green pepper. Different, but oh so yummy! The enchilada and burrito were typically prepared and filling. The salsa was very good too. Nice bite! It was pretty empty inside, but we did come around 8:30p on a Monday night. The place is cavernous though. They would have no problem seating large groups for lunch or dinner. Check out the bar area to at least look at the lovely chandelier and open area. Will definitely give it another try if in the area.

Good food but they are 0 for 2 on to go orders. I wouldn't order to go but if you do double check everything in the bag.

Mi Pueblo is a restaurant that I have been going to since I was a little boy. It is normally one of the first places that I think of when I want some good Mexican cuisine. Although the quality has fluctuated some over the years, it still is one of the best Mexican food restaurants around. One of my favorite parts of eating Mexican food is the beginning, where you have chips and dip. The salsa here is good and always has been, but is a little spicy. I can handle it, but for those who can't, there is a milder salsa that can be ordered. I also love the cheese dip and guacamole that they have and almost always get both! When it comes to entrees I normally do not get anything too fancy. Most recently I've gotten a grilled shrimp and cheese quesadilla that tasted great! They have a huge selection of options to choose from, including vegetarian options! The service is normally very good and the food is almost always brought out very quickly. I definitely recommend Mi Pueblo!

This was my favorite spot in the neighborhood and I'm sure I'll be back but I wasn't happy with how slow the service was for dinner on Sunday. Good Mexican food.

Really good Mexican lunch. Easy to go Gluten free here if you leave out tortillas. Fresh food. OK speed but they can get overloaded.

We usually go there at least once a week. I will start off by saying the food is usually good. Unfortunately the service and management staff is absolutely atrocious! The restaurant closes at 10:30 on Fridays/Saturday's and they expect you out at 10:31. Tonight, they moped the floors in the bar side dining area at 9:00. Again making us feel like a burden to them. There always seems to be tension amongst the staff and its clearly visible to the customers. I'll just say we will not be back after tonight!

The food is very good. I especially like the chicken soup and fajitas. The soup could probably cure anything it's so good! We come for lunch a couple of times a week.

Mi Pueblo has been on my regular rotation for a long time. I have to say that the food is almost always good. At times it is downright wow, and then slips a little. The chile Colorado is really good as is the jerk pork. Salsa is chunky and really good. Same can be said for the service, though lately it has been more down than up. Usually though it is sufficient. Last time I ate here the food and service was good. But then the next day after I ate here I had a large charge that someone tried to put on my credit card. Now I'm not one hundred percent sure it was from here.. but it is very possible, and very likely. Thinking back on it, the waiter did stay gone with my card for a long time after paying. Watch your account if you use a card here. Despite the offering of the owner to investigate.. my last messages to him have gone unanswered.

Food is OK but the service is terrible. I've waited over 15 minutes just for someone to take our drink order while staff just passed by us obliviously.

Ok I am going to try this restaurant despite the poor ratings. Let's go Mi Pueblo...you get ONE shot with me. Hubbie ordered #7 (Enchilada, Mexican Rice) and I ordered #3 (taco, refried beans, Mexican rice) with a side of regional Guacamole (read chunky). Immediately had salsa and chips on the table. Didn't wait one second for a server. Salsa was tasty but a bit too oniony for me. The onions were bitter, not sweet in the salsa. I think they should use something milder. Food was served QUICKLY within 5 minutes of ordering. It was correct and hot. Ok husband liked his meal altogether. Nothing special but tasty. My taco was good, not great. Refried beans were very flavorful and rice was tasty. Finally my side order of Regional Guacamole was delicious. It came with some buttery tasting chips that were the perfect accompaniment to that guacamole. Don't believe those other reviews at all. Jamie our server was pleasant, and checked on us throughout the meal. I asked for a box for my leftover Guacamole and he boxed it for me at the table. That's not what typically happens at a local Mexican restaurant. The food was probably 3 1/2 stars but when you add Jamie the server and the regional guacamole to our experience I had to give them five stars.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
